Good morning everybody,
With all due respect to the honorable judges, to the teacher from all Senior High Schools in ciamis, and all the audience here, ladies and gentlemen… Good Morning!!

First of all, let us thank god because of his blessings, we all can gather here on this sunny morning. In this chance, I would like to tell you my speech that has the theme “Go Green!”

Saving Our Planet is a program that was persuading the earthlings so that they would become more concern and care to their entire environment. It was because the civilization that has been created by the modern people in this millennium era had affected so many destructive impacts which are really needed to be concerned. These impacts are causing a new problem, The “Global Warming”. In prediction, that in the last 100 years the temperatures of our planet has increased by 1’ every year. Meanwhile, the ocean surface has increased for about 1 meter from its former level. The problem is, modern people not only wanted to increase their prosperity, but also increase their rate of comfortable & luxurious life.

Tomcat as trending topic

         
                     Lately this has become a trending topic tomcat among the mass media, electronicmedia, are also among the public. This tiny insect is very dangerous, because these tinyinsects are very harmful to the many social networking sites or news of a morequestioning about tomcat. Mass media, networking sites like twitter has made a hot topic on tomcat. many people or communities affected by the liquid tomcat, social networking sites would be to make the topic more hysterical. With a circulation ofinformation about tomcat makes its citizens are becoming increasingly anxious, orworried.

      With a brisk networking sites without stopping tomcat problem, one group on twitterabout tomcat get enough followers than followers of top artists. tomcat has had time toget rid of news about rising fuel problem. with the information created by the massmedia or print media without stopping will bring negative effects as well.
but we also need to think critically as they may be able to get tomcat to make a questionout of tune because degan logic or our minds. information about any of it does notalways give positive filtration when we are not going to be a negative impact.

Renungan

                                          JANGAN MAU DIBODOHI

                                                2 Timotius 2: 14-26

“Hindarilah soal-soal yang dicari-cari, yang bodoh, dan yang tidak layak. Engkau tahu bahwa soal-soal itu menimbulkan pertengkaran.” (2 Tim. 2:23)

Manusia kadang-kadang aneh. Sudah tau kalau ditipu atau dibodohi, tapi mereka tetap saja suka dibodohi dan suka membodohi. Bahkan kadang-kadang ada semacam “kebutuhan” dan ‘kenikmatan” untuk merasakan bagaimana ditipu.

            Seorang turis menikmati perjalanan yang mahal, tetapi ‘menyenangkan” untuk melihat bekas peninggalan sejarah. Di suatu tempat, ia memasuki sebuah ‘museum” yang menyimpan sebuah tengkorak yang dianggap suci. Pemandu wisata dengan lancar menjelaskan: “ini tengkorak Santo Paulus!”. Sang turis pun begitu bersyukur, dapat melihat “jenazah” tokoh Perjanjian Baru yang sering ia baca.

            Keesokan harinya, ia berkunjung ke tempat lain. Di tempat itupun terdapat “museum’ yang menyimpan benda purbakala. Dan... kepada sang turis, penjaga museum  menjelaskan dengan mantap: “Ini tengkorak Rasul Paulus”. Sang turis heran dan bertanya: “kemarin kami mengunjungi sebuah museum. Di sana disimpan tengkorak Paulus. Kenapa disnini juga ada tengkoraknya?” Dengan tenang penjaga museum itu menjelaskan: “Oh, yang ini tengkorak ketika ia masih muda. Yang anda lihat ditempat lain adalah tengkorak ketika ia sudah tua.

            Ketika sering melihat gejala seperti itu. Orang dengan sengaja membayar mahal untuk dibodohi. Dan Ia suka. Kalau itu sudah merambah ke dunia iman, maka tipuan-tipuan yang berkedok  agama, akan sangat merusak hidup manusia. Hindari soal-soal yang dicari-cari, yang bodoh dan tidak layak. Seandainya ada lima puluh juta orang berkata-kata tentang hal yang bodoh, ucapannya itupun masih tetap bodoh.

            Kesimpulannya, Orang beriman tidak bodoh dan tidak mau dibodohi. Bagaimana cara mengasah kemampuan kita supaya kita tidak dibodohi oleh orang lain? Yaitu dengan cara selalu berfikir positif, dan senantiasa menghindari soal-soal yang bodoh dan tidak layak.
